Description
Amixide-H Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat mental depression occurring along with anxiety, nervousness, and tension. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age. Do not suddenly stop taking this medicine suddenly as it may cause withdrawal symptoms like seizures, aggressive behavior, blurred vision, etc.

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to amitriptyline, chlordiazepoxide, any medicine belonging to either the benzodiazepine or tricyclic antidepressants class, or any other ingredients present in the formulation.
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO)
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) due to the increased risk of serious and life-threatening side effects. A time gap of at least 14 days should be maintained between stopping therapy with MAOIs and starting therapy with this medicine.
Acute myocardial infarction
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients who have had an episode of heart-attack in recent times or recovering from it.
Severe Cardiovascular Disorders
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients who are suffering from severe heart diseases or any conditions that prolong QT interval due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
Angle Closure Glaucoma
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with angle-closure glaucoma due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

General warnings
Driving or Operating machinery

Hypotension
Use of this medicine may increase the risk of fall in blood pressure, and hence, caution is advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is necessary while receiving this medicine. Bipolar Disorder
This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from bipolar disorder due to the increased risk of worsening the patient's condition. Suicidal tendencies
This medicine should be used with caution due to the increased risk of suicidal tendencies. This risk is especially higher in young adult patients.
